You will get better at it. Just draw all the time, even in the back of your textbooks, draw on the steamed up mirror after you've had a shower,
get shaving foam and draw on the pavement.....you're kinda getting the gist of what goes on in my head....
My advice on cat drawing to you is:
1.Grab a cat photo off the internet, preferably a photo not a drawing (they are harder)
2.Trace it
3.Modify it, as in add scars and collars etc.
4.Colour it, add shading,
5.Post it up on your online platforms,
6.:D Done!

In case you were wondering, this is NOT art theft or 'copying' (breathes out)
Once you've done like 1000 (maybe less XD) try drawing without tracing, and vola! you draw cats like an artist!
