Hm... I'm not sure. There's dragons, cats, human stories (like a lot of books out there), horse stuff, there's a LOT of stuff to write about. The important thing is that you use your imagination and JUST WRITE XD.
Okay! Sounds good... I'll list some ideas. I try to make them a bit different than the usual horse books (save the stable! save the horse! win the show! you probably know what I mean.) ;)
1.) A girl's parents send her to a Christian horse camp...
2.) The main character is injured in a show accident, causing them to stop riding horses (out of fear or injury, whichever).
3.) A wild horse is brought to a stable for the first time...
4.) A girl's dad remarries and moves to a horse stable (the girl does not like horses).
5.) The main character decides to start training horses for her/himself.
...so yeah. Those are just blank outlines of ideas, you, then, can add backstories, details, other situations, etc. It's hard to come up with horse stories that are out of the box, though, because all are so similar! (which is why Keystone Stables caught my attention; it was different.) :D
