Alternatives for C-clip? Glue?

I just purchased my Rainbow Loom. I want to use it to make toys for my cat. The bracelets generally use the plastic C-clip. That won;t work. My cat will separate the rubber bands from the clip in seconds, and I will have rubber bands all over the house! Is there a way I can secure the 2 ends so that they stay put? Glue? A different clip, maybe? Also, it doesn't even have to loop. It can just be a straight line, but still how do you secure the last rubber band end?

I sincerely thank you for your responses, in advance :)

There is a way to secure the end with another rubber band. If the toy you're making has two ends, put your hook through both ends and pull one or two, depending on thickness of the ends, through. Then, put both loops of the band(s) over, then pull a loop of the band over the other one and pull. If that's confusing, I can make a picture of how to do the tying band thingy.

If the toy has one end that needs secured, you do the same thing.

ok I'll keep it simple

I'll just run a rubber band through the end loops and tie a knot lol. Thank you for your help folks.
